About Take a Stand, Darling!

We are a Private Mighty Network exclusively for successful, savvy women like you.

We honor ALL women, regardless of race, color, national origin, age, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, religion, height, weight, or veteran status.

Our Big Purpose

We're creating a Tribe of successful, savvy women who have a history of giving away their power. Through shared experiences, collaboration, support, and mindset, our Tribe masters the skills and capacities that will enable them to transform ALL their relationships, especially their relationship with themselves.

  • Have you experienced being disregarded, disrespected, bullied, or manipulated in your life?
  • Do you have difficultly feeling and honoring your feelings?
  • Do you engage in negative self-talk?
  • Are you reluctant to trust your own intuition?

My guess is that you have searched and tried out a variety of solutions that you were told would be the answers. And yet, here you are still seeking a solution that has eluded you so far.

So, what sets my approach to this common and disheartening problem apart from the other folks that have said something like "6 Easy Steps to Being Fully Empowered"?

In my research and experience, most of the solutions presented are external approaches to the problem. True solutions that are meaningful and lasting can only be found within. Yes, I'm talking about that part of ourselves that most of us are reluctant and sometimes scared shitless to visit. We have a lot of distractions in our lives to help us avoid facing US! Sound familiar?

You see...

We "train" people how to treat us...

By the way we treat ourselves.

Read that again!

Let's unpack that concept. Notice that I didn't say teach.  I said train.  There is a distinct difference.  Teaching is more theoretical and abstract, while training (when done well) is more hands-on and practical. Teaching seeks to impart knowledge and provide information, while training is intended to develop abilities. (You hire a personal trainer at your gym.)

People in our lives, either consciously or unconsciously, follow our lead. Most of the time, they are going to treat us just like we treat ourselves. So, we are actually "training" them how to treat us!

OK...so maybe you're in disbelief right now, thinking... Maddox is talking some shit!

Here's an example. Let's say you are in a relationship with someone who is inattentive and neglects you. If you are willing to be honest with yourself and really look within, you are most likely going to find that you are inattentive and neglectful of yourself.

It's very unfair and we can't expect others to treat us better than we treat ourselves. The world is going to reflect back to us who we are in life.

That said, my approach to solving the problem that you have tried so many solutions for and failed, is to spend time in introspection and really ask yourself the hard question. "How do I treat myself in less than acceptable ways that is setting an example to the whole world of just how to treat me?"

If you're having a lightbulb moment right now, that's a good thing! You may also be feeling some emotional pain right now...that's normal and actually part of the process.

My approach starts with identifying the various ways you give away your power and then embarking on the "Hero's Journey" to do the necessary work to move your life toward Wholeness.

If you would like a sneak peek into this process, click this link and get my "Do You Give Away Your Power? Self-Assessment". It's a great first step to transforming your life and ALL your relationships.

If you would like to explore possibilities, I offer a complementary "Take Back Your Power" discovery session. You can click here to contact me.

I have learned to stand firmly in my personal power and, if I can do it, so can you!

About Me

Hi, I'm Maddox.

People often ask me: why am I, as a man, creating a practice to help women?

I have always had a magical relationship with women... as a child, as a teenager, and throughout my adulthood as a gay man. There are so many women in my life that have been powerfully loving, accepting, supportive, and loyal to me, and yet I also noticed that they often don’t relate to themselves with that same fiercely loving attitude.

Though it wasn’t necessarily a conscious choice to help women take a stand in their own power, in my 20s I became a hairdresser and served women for four decades, often doubling as an unofficial coach when they were in my chair. I decided to make it official, through study and supervised practice. Now as a professional coach, I am joyfully able to give my time and effort directly to helping women stand in their personal power by seeing the inner and outer beauty that I have always seen in them. I have the ability to help my Tribe see any aspect of their life from new perspectives, and this opens up a whole new world of possibilities and opportunities.

As a fierce advocate for women, I’m here to support you to Take a Stand, Darling!
